Bonus points accumulation rules along with the methods of writing them off are managed by your business needs. There are 3 main methods of bonus accumulation for your clients:

Fixed

Bonuses accumulation rate is the same, regardless of the amount spent by the client.

Progressive

Bonuses from purchases increases depending on the amount spent.

Segmented

Amount of bonuses received from buying varies depending on the product, time or place of purchase, sales channel, customer segment, etc. Primarily, this mechanic is used to regulate demand in the selected segment.

Additionally, the accumulation of bonuses can be divided into unconditional and conditional types. Unconditional points are accumulated when a product or service is purchased, regardless of other factors, while accrual of conditional points requires the client to perform certain actions.
